We checked on 9 August 2026 and Concur does not serve a public rate card. Reported structures are usually per expense report submitted, or per active user per month, with separate charges for the travel and invoice modules and a one-off implementation fee. Two consequences follow: quotes are difficult to compare between vendors, and the per-report model means cost tracks activity rather than headcount, which can work in your favour if travel is seasonal.
What you are really buying
Not receipt scanning. Every competitor does that. Concur exists for the layer above it:
- Policy as code. Rules about class of travel, per diems and approval thresholds evaluated automatically rather than by a manager reading a PDF.
- Audit defensibility. A record that stands up to internal audit and tax inspection.
- Travel tied to policy. Booking inside the same system that enforces the rules.
If those are not requirements, you are paying for enforcement you do not need.
Where the category has moved
The strongest challenge now comes from card-led providers. Ramp, Brex and Pleo issue corporate cards and capture the expense at the point of spend, which removes the reimbursement cycle entirely and is often free because the provider earns interchange. For a company under a few thousand employees, that model is usually both cheaper and considerably better liked.
What to check before buying
Ask for the pricing basis in writing, since per-report and per-user quotes behave very differently as you grow. Confirm which modules are included, because travel and invoice are frequently separate. And ask existing customers about the implementation timeline rather than relying on the estimate, since configuration of policy rules is where these projects slow down.
