Dynamics 365 Business Central Pricing
Dynamics 365 Business Central pricing is $80.00 per user a month on Essentials and $110.00 on Premium, both paid yearly, with a Team Members licence at $8.00 for people who only read data and approve workflows. Business Central is Microsoft's finance, sales and operations app, and it is licensed on its own, apart from the Sales, Customer Service and Field Service apps on the Dynamics 365 price list. How many people need a full licence moves the bill far more than which plan they are on.

The three Business Central licences

- Essentials, $80.00 - finance, sales and operations, with Microsoft Copilot included, per Microsoft's page
- Premium, $110.00 - everything in Essentials, plus service management and manufacturing
- Team Members, $8.00 - limited access to read data, approve workflows, and create or update select information
Premium adds $360 a user a year
Premium is $30.00 per user a month above Essentials, which is $360.00 a user a year, or $3,600.00 a year for ten users. What it adds is service management and manufacturing, so the premium buys nothing for a business that does neither. Whether Essentials and Premium users can be combined in one environment is a licensing-guide question Microsoft's pricing page does not answer, so it is not assumed here.
Most of the bill is who needs a full licence
Ten people on Business Central, on annual payment:
- All ten on Essentials, $9,600.00 a year
- All ten on Premium, $13,200.00 a year
- Three on Essentials and seven on Team Members, if those seven only read, approve and update select records, $296.00 a month or $3,552.00 a year - under half the all-Essentials bill
The UK price in pounds
